Torc Hotel - Woodford (Kerry)

The rooms were comfy, and the kids loved the spacious family accommodations. We had a great breakfast each morning and spent lovely evenings at the bar, where live music created a vibrant atmosphere. It's a good spot if you want to hit some of the great local golf courses.

My kids wished there were more fun activities for them to enjoy.

it's a fantasticbrand-new hotel nestled in a traditional style building. the property has a central location in a residential area. plus, this hotel is short walk to ireland, and the outskirts of killarney town. the room is reasonably priced. there is a lot of supplies like : central heating, multi-channel television, and a seating area.

Newly remodelled room with comfortable beds, spent our time lovely. The staff was amiable, excellent, and responded promptly to requests. Its tranquil, central location was a plus: D

The brekkie was lekker, and the meals we had were just spot on. Most of all, the staff were really friendly and went out their way to help. The atmosphere was so chilled in the communal areas. Perfect for kuier time!

The room felt a bit small and could've used an extra pillow or two, but it was clean enough.

The pub and the restaurant are great!

The girl at checkout was incredibly helpful - much appreciated! The live music in the bar and the country dance were fun to see as we went to our rooms.

Two nights at the Torc Hotel were nice. The friendly bar staff, especially Pat and Mike, made every evening enjoyable. Their quick service and engaging conversations added to the lively atmosphere. Meals included a delicious chowder, which I highly recommend. The cozy bar was like a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. I was disappointed by the absence of water in the room, which I expected based on the website photos. Although the country location was convenient, the room felt outdated with issues like creaky floorboards and no hot water . Breakfast was adequate but could benefit from more variety, especially in coffee quality. Still, I appreciated the hearty portions and the cute environment provided by all staff were great.

Good atmosphere. The bathroom was spotless and the water very hot & good shower.

The bed covers were marked and looked grubby.

Allthough it was just over a five minute drive from the town of Killarney, where we had really wanted to stay found everything to our complete satisfaction and would certainly go back there. The food was good and there was entertainment in the bar lounge. The beds were comfortable and the towels a fair size.

I have no adverse comments whatsoever.

The staff here are a gem, greeting us with warmth and really good service. Rooms are well-furnished. Dining options are varied, with generous portions-especially the dinners!

I liked the country charm and the live Irish singer in the cozy bar. I also liked that they can accommodate four adults in one room. The breakfast was great and was a big reason I chose Darby's over others that did not include breakfast in the room price.

The hotel's proximity to Killarney National Park is really good, making it a great base for outdoor activities.

The breakfast selection could benefit from more variety and fresher options, as the cut-up fruit and the reheated egg dishes were disappointing.

What a special stay, no complaint. Modern and impeccably clean hotel, knowledgeable staff and perfect location. Proximity to the airport, just 25 km. Lovely breakfast selection with porridge, scrambled egg, bacon, reasonably priced.
